double helix from identity exhibition

Here is a picture that was taken at the DNA exhibition of a double helix. This picture inspired me towards some of my development, looking at the way the double helix is shaped I'm trying to design something similar using my architecture side and graphical side.

This is some more models I'm looking at to get different ideas of the double helix, and how to structure it.

The Grand Staircase is an innovative double-helix design by Leonardo da Vinci. It ensures that the person going up and the person going down cannot meet. This is something very inspiring to me because it reminds me of the double helix and it very architectural design

This statue represents the double helix structure of DNA. It can be found inside Times Square, outside the Centre for Life Complex.

This piece is very eye catching to me when I first saw it gave me the idea of creating my final piece in a 3d model some how. Also the materials he has used to create the helix he has used two shades pieces of wood.

When think of some ideas towards my development work of the double helix one building come up in my mind which was the gherkin building in London. the Black tinted glass windows which rotate around the building reminds me of the double helix. This was another idea towards making a 3d model.
